Awarded a Bachelor of Science (Hons)
degree in Forensic Science and a second in Fire Science, Gregory Gorbett is
a skilled fire and explosion scene investigator, evidence collection and
handling technician, published fire researcher, codes and standards
specialist, and skilled forensic fire science and technology laboratory
technician.
He is currently undertaking graduate studies at Worcester
Polytechnic Institute for his Master of Science Degree in Fire Protection
Engineering. He carries the designation of a nationally certified fire and
explosion investigator and nationally certified vehicle fire investigator.
He is educated and well versed in using computer fire modeling programs for
fire analysis. He also has experience in fire suppression and fire service
activities.
Gregory Gorbett has knowledge of large fire-loss case management and fire
investigation experience including the $45 million Chateau du Triomphe fire
in Dallas, Texas (at seventy-thousand square feet, the largest single house
fire in history) and many other commercial losses. |

in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology at the University of Cincinnati and
Eastern Kentucky University, Kathryn Kennedy is a very skilled fire and
explosion scene investigator, codes and standards specialist, and published
fire science researcher and skilled forensic fire science and technology
laboratory technician.
She
has participated in the actual on-scene investigations of some of the largest
and most important fire cases in recent history including: the $500 million,
one million square foot, River Cities Warehouse fire in Davenport, Iowa (prior
to 9/11, the largest fire loss in the United States in 2001); the $45 million
Chateau du Triomphe fire in Dallas, Texas (at seventy-thousand square feet,
the largest single house fire in history). Her winning record of fire
trial cases began with her very first fire scene with an $8 million verdict in
Akron, Ohio.
